Algorithmic Trader

My client is a prominent market-making and programmatic trading firm in the cryptocurrency industry that works with over 30 cryptocurrency exchanges worldwide. They are looking for an Algorithmic Trader ("a trader who codes") to join their business. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement advanced automated trading algorithms for cryptocurrency markets. Conduct in-depth research and analysis to enhance trading strategies and risk management techniques. Analyse market data to improve current trading algorithms. Design and develop advanced computing architectures. Collaborate with a team of experts to create solutions for automated trading. Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in cryptocurrency. Your Profile: PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Quantitative Finance, or a related technical field. Excellent logical reasoning and analytical skills. Experience writing code to process and analyse large data sets. Proficiency in software development and engineering principles. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in electronic trading, specifically within FX/futures. Strong software development skills, particularly in lower-level languages and Python. Familiarity with cryptocurrency markets and blockchain technology.
