Scrum Master

Job Title: Scrum Master - Investment Banking (Onsite) Location: London SW3, UK (3 days onsite, 2 remote) Duration: Initial contract until 31st December 2024, then yearly extensions Setup: Inside IR35, PAYE, Through umbrella Position Overview: We are seeking a seasoned Scrum Master to lead and manage a team of resources for a T&M/Staff Augmentation project within the Investment Banking sector. This role is crucial for ensuring the successful delivery of projects by fostering an Agile mindset and practices among the team. The position is based in London, with a requirement to work onsite as per the client’s preferences. The key skills needed for this job are experience in leading Scrum teams, a strong understanding of Agile principles and the SDLC, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, and preferably, knowledge of data platforms and Azure services. Key Responsibilities: Coach the team and stakeholders on Agile and Scrum principles, ensuring adherence to best practices. Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Retrospective. Collaborate closely with the Product Owner to prioritize and manage the product backlog effectively. Identify and remove impediments to enhance team productivity, guiding the team to resolve challenges independently. Foster a collaborative and motivating team environment, encouraging team members to perform at their best. Key Skills: Proven experience leading Scrum teams with a strong understanding of Agile principles and practices. Solid technical background with a good grasp of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Experience in data platforms is a strong advantage. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications: Certified Scrum Master (CSM). Knowledge of data technologies and Azure services is a plus.
