Job Title: Software Engineer Location: Remote Remuneration: £38.46 - £42.79 per hour Contract Details: Temporary, 6 months Responsibilities: ️ Design and implement systems to enhance the security of our client's Identity & Access Management Systems. ️ Build and maintain tools that improve the Identity and Access Management posture at our client's organisation. Conduct design and code reviews. Analyse and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability for assigned product areas and systems. Identify and drive necessary changes for assigned codebase, product areas, and systems. Interface with other teams to incorporate their innovations and vice versa. Articulate security findings to various stakeholders, both technical and non-technical. Provide defensible recommendations on control implementations based on findings, considering cost versus benefits. Participate in the development and oversight of corrective actions to address security issues. Recommend process improvements and strategic initiatives related to security. Skills: Experience in writing custom scripts in Python/C++/PHP/Hack. Experience building large-scale distributed systems or similar. Knowledge of evaluating systems architectural designs, data-flow diagrams, and technical security implementations, particularly in the context of access management. Requirements: BSc in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience. Software development experience. Experience in assessing security deficiencies in first-party/internal information systems. Familiarity with information security principles and frameworks. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities.
