Senior Consultant (Corporate and Business systems)

See our website for more about who we are and what we do. The Role We customise the work we do for every client we work for: no day is the same. Typical consultancy work this role will perform includes: Supporting a workstream in a digital transformation programme e.g. finance digital transformation Helping organisations understand their need for new corporate business systems Supporting procurement and contracting efforts for such systems Providing fractional services such as programme or project management Helping organisations optimise processes or specify the automation of data flows and much more besides You’ll be working as part of a small team of talented consultants and associates each of whom have a market specialism - this role will act as our market lead for corporate and business systems such as grants, finance, volunteer, HRIS and similar systems. The role carries a high level of trust and involves working for multiple clients at any given time and will suit a self-directed, life-long learner who wants to help business functions do more through digital technology and data. Specific experience and skills we are looking for include: At least 10 years’ experience working in a systems orientated role in the corporate function of a third sector organisation (perhaps as a business systems lead, a finance systems role, a business analyst, head of IT or similar). Experience leading or at least playing a key role in a major systems transformation project (for example upgrading or migrating from one system to another) and working with technology suppliers. Affinity with finance and people functions including familiarity with typical processes, activities and services provided. Current or former 'super-user' level knowledge of at least one corporate/business system Able to articulate ideas clearly, comfortable facilitating workshops, able to influence and collaborate with staff at all levels.
