Does anyone import photos to Flash anymore to make a slide show? Should I go the xml route?
Is there a way to make it look cool with fades? What do you think?
I’ve used Flash galleries that make use of XML for images.
One of the better gallery scripts is SlideShowPro.
You can do a lot with it, including fade/transitions. It might be a good tool to experiment with. 
I’m trying to find a good clear tutorial to use XML, and Actionscript 2.0 to make my photo slide show for my website. So far I have no luck. Does anyone know of a good tutorial?

I wouldn’t do any photo album using Flash, talk about inaccessible mediums.
Why not use one of the lovely jQuery slideshows that exist which at least gracefully degrade?
My website is done with Flash CS3. I have to be able to show that I can make a nice flash slide show. I did already, but this next one should be done with XML.
There are a lot of XML AS3 tutorials out there. Maybe I should just do this one the way I know how to do it with AS2 and move on to AS3 and XML for my next portfolio piece.
