Hi friends i have a industrial portal site which has high bandwidth and what i need to know is Whether placing the Popup is useful for a site or it will reduce the traffic of site indeed of Search engine results Please share your opinion.

Most people, including myself, find pop ups annoying; especially if they constantly appearing per page. The opt-in (registration) form pop up is excusable, since many marketers receive members through this tactic. We always close the pop up window.
Pop-ups are irritating term, according to me. It will be more irritating when if your working on an important project and you will find those again and again.
If your using ubuntu then you can download Adblock plus 2.2.4. This will help you to shut pop-ups.

Pop-up is having Negative effect …many People who like to do daily work find this thing very annoying and frustrate them…so Using Popups is a bad idea…but you can Use reg popup when someone open your Website for first time…it helps the people to reg. with your Site…and as a result you can have Good Customer Base!!!
