What top 5 Widgets do you enjoy to see on a Blog?

What top B[/B] or B[/B], widgets do you prefer to see on a WordPress Blog or maybe you even have a some you could suggest that you use.

I have come across three the first one, is not too bad, but they mention that it’s broken. The [URL=“http://denzeldesigns.com/wordpress-plugins/video-sidebar-widgets/”]second one, I’m not sure about, because WordPress doe have video functions built in, and I can’t quite see the advantage with this add-on. And the [URL=“http://www.bitty.com/info/”]third one that I was able to find, that I found a little interesting, added a Browser within a Browser function, is this even worth it ?

On most blogs I just want to read the posts and make comments, I don’t care what widgets the site happens to use.

Do you have any names of specific ones ?

I like to see archives when I visit a site, I usually like to read the new posts before explorer further onto the site. Also, even though wordpress has built-in video feature, I like to use tubepress.

usually just the archive or tag clouds i like to see and the summary/bio of the website

its always handy to have a nice sidebar too so u can navigate around the site without having to scroll forever to find what you’re looking for! I also like to see the RSS feeds :tup:

I would like to see social bookmarking widget installed in my blog. Tag cloud should also be visible in my blog as well traffic map or whatever it’s name. Something that will help me track my visitors.

Nice, suggestions. Do you have any links to these specific widgets ? As I’d like to pick the three I will be using at this point.

My favorite ones are Twitter, top commentators, recent posts, and page rank indicator.

I would like some links to some of these widgets :slight_smile: As I could go looking for them myself, but maybe some of the widgets have features that other widgets, don’t.

For me it’s visitors map, google search, and calendar.
