What Makes You Bookmark a Website?

Off Topic:

offcourse site design and because of site features. If the site design is advanced and beautiful we might learn from it by bookmarking it and open it later. If it has got excellent features then quick signup will be a deal.

I bookmark sites either because of some interesting functionality, or because of interesting content.
As I’m a web developer I also occasinaly bookmark websites with a good design, but I don’t think average joe does this (much).

I’ve never bookmarked a website based on it’s name or color and I don’t think I ever will.

That’s exactly the kind of response that I was looking for. I’m a marketing consultant, so I tend to bookmark sites with lots of great marketing content and resources.

This is a good question =)

I seldom bookmark websites… unless it is something related to my trade, which is SEO or Web Property.

I used to bookmark sites a lot more than I do now to be honest - the reasons being that Firefox’s awesomebar and otherwise Google#s search index makes refinding that site/page pretty easy anyway.

If I use a site regularly or see it as more of a resource then I will probably bookmark it still of course…
