I am trying both but i think i am finding much better results on twitter than fb where i am getting lot of useless likes.
It depends. I personally like Facebook because it converts far better than twitter.
I’d go for Facebook because it is used by a lot of people all over the world. Its audience is massive and very targeted.
how much time did it take you guys some descent traffic from facebook? is it a long process especially for a beginner because i am struggling with my fb page.
You need some time and a few good thousand people following you on Facebook. Share tips, advices and whatever you got with them to keep them engaged. Add your website’s url in the description of the FB page. Don’t send them links every day. Just be a problem-solver and they will find a way to visit your website and stick to you.

Both. I send 200+ visitors daily from Facebook and Twitter combined to my blog. Of course it needs time but it pays off at the end.
Well, there are a number of techniques for driving traffic to your blog. I am sharing here a few. You can consider them if you like - Create great content
- Use RSS Feeds
- update the content regularly
- Submit your blog to directories.
- Plus, you need to use and harness certain social media tools and tips to drive traffic to your social media.
Best way is that If you have blog then share user friendly blog and If you have online store then share best Product with offer .
Note: Always attached some Hastag and some trending tags which related to your niche.
It took me around two months to start getting decent traffic from Facebook. Though I did some paid advertising but it paid off. You need to be active. Spend 1 hour a day with full dedication on Facebook. You will see results pretty soon.
i think the more i am researching the more i find out that Facebook is much better because of its accurate audience targeting capabilities but i will look into twitter as well.

Do you have a source to back up that statistic? And how does that relate to the OP’s question of which drives more traffic? Are you guessing it will be Twitter because of the greater interaction, or do you have some proof?
You can easily drive real traffic using social exchange websites like Addmefast and youlikehits 
I just started them and its working like a charm Also ranking my page a lot

Try to include some details which give context and make your post of more help to others.
You can drive traffic to your blog from the both platforms. Before that you need to analyse the best time to promote your content.
Generate content frequently and promote it.
I suggest posting updates in Facebook groups and schedule your tweets couple of times in a day will definitely drive traffic.
They isnt a simple answer to that or they’d all be using just one social platform. I’d recommend using both and posting regularly with your chosen topics matching your category
