I am requested to all sitepoint professional for giving information about benefits of Forum posting.

I’m curious as to why you’re asking. You’re posting in this forum, so presumably you think there are some benefits or you wouldn’t do it.

The benefits of forum posting are to discuss matters of interest with a wider audience. If you have a question to ask, or a point you wish to discuss, you can raise it for other members to answer. In return, you can help answer questions which others have posted. Forums are online communities based on give-and-take.

IMHO you will derive more benefit from actively participating in threads than you will from simply starting them.

In certain cases, this will be true. But if you visits forum with this purpose in mind, or it is your main concern, you will fail big time.

A forum is a place for debate and ideas exchange. A high quality debate will expand your ideas, give you new ones, teach you something new or even inspire you.

But, of course, the quality of a debate depends on the interest and willingness of the people that visits that forum.

Additionally, there may be (or not) benefits for your business and some networking but that’s not its purpose
