I have a website that I would like professionally appraised, but have no idea of a reputable company/person.
Or even If I could speak to someone that has some experience so I could get a ballpark figure? Or would posting a little about the site in question help?

A lot of people (and sites) will claim to do valuation accurately and some will even charge you good money for it, but there’s nobody who can give you an accurate valuation as it’s entirely dependent on individual buyer’s perceptions of the opportunity your site presents and the profit they can make from it.

Fruit’s right. I don’t think there really is any such thing as a “professional” appraisal service for websites. If you need some kind of documentation for a legal proceeding, an estate settlement or something like that, your attorney may be able to refer you to an appropriate accountant. If you’re just looking to sell, I think the best thing is to just list it on an open market like Flippa and let the market set the price.
