Upgrade PC or Video Card?

I have a PC I’m not sure how old it is, probably a year and a half, but the specs aren’t that bad, as far as I can tell. I’m getting major lag on video games, and mainily loading up full screen mode, and then Alt+Tabbing between the full screen program and internet explorer. I’m wondering if I need to purchase a new PC, or if upgrading the video card would fix the problems.

Current Specs:
CPU:AMD Phenom X4 9750 / 2.4 GHz
Chipset: NVIDIA GeForce 9100
Data bus: 3600.0 MHz
Memory: 8GB 800.0 MHz DDR2
HD: 750GB 7200 RPM
Video: NVIDIA GeForce 9100
Sound: Realtek ALC888S 7.1 HD Audio

Change your GPU… onboard graphics is not a better option for any gamer.

You just need to upgrade your graphics card for a better one. Take care!

A computer with the above spec is really good. You don’t need to purchase a new one. The graphics card, NVIDIA GeForce 9100, is a shared one. While it is good for everyday use, it is helplessly slow and lags badly for serious gaming. If it was a dedicated one, it would have been better. So if you are a gamer, you better get a new graphics card.

yes i agree, if you really love playing games then upgrade your GPU. recommended one is Radeon HD 4670 Graphics or GTS250.
