I have a PC I’m not sure how old it is, probably a year and a half, but the specs aren’t that bad, as far as I can tell. I’m getting major lag on video games, and mainily loading up full screen mode, and then Alt+Tabbing between the full screen program and internet explorer. I’m wondering if I need to purchase a new PC, or if upgrading the video card would fix the problems.
A computer with the above spec is really good. You don’t need to purchase a new one. The graphics card, NVIDIA GeForce 9100, is a shared one. While it is good for everyday use, it is helplessly slow and lags badly for serious gaming. If it was a dedicated one, it would have been better. So if you are a gamer, you better get a new graphics card.
