In google webmaster my submitted url’s is 46 whereas my indexed url’s are 8?
Is it normal for the indexed url’s to be a lot less? I know I have more than 8 unique pages.
Thanks!

Short answer: Yes - depending on the authority of your site.
I take it your “submitted” URLs are referring to ones submitting via XML sitemap?
If so - take a look at this Google WebMaster video for more explanation.

Also, it’s worth considering that Google may not see the content as worth indexing. They may also just be taking their sweet time to get to the deeper parts of your site.
yeah, the submitted url’s are ones I submitted via a sitemap. I only did have about 8 pages up until a week or so ago. Hopefully google just hasn’t gotten around to indexing the other pages.
On a side note…in google webmaster should I increase the “Crawl Rate”?
Not really. This is only taken as a hint and is meant to be based on your server’s ability to allow for a heavier hit by bots. You won’t see any deeper or faster indexing (which is a separate action from crawling) by changing this setting.
I just check again and 18 pages have now been indexed. Seems like google is just taking it’s time.
how to index web 2.0 sites like wordpress, blogspot etc …?
I use Site:http://…url to check my site index pages in Google.

It is not answer again questions is how to index web 2.0 sites in Google?

Please start a new thread for new questions.
But since you have already asked - there’s no difference between indexing a “web 2.0” site from any other site - this term is only used to describe some of the technologies that the sites employ - the sites themselves are still made up of pages that require indexing - the process of indexation still remains the same - discovery/crawl of links.
If you do ask a new question - you might want to be more specific with the difficulties you are having in indexing your “2.0” site.
you mean that use same technique for web 2.0 sites… like Directory submission, Article submission, profile creation on forum with back link etc…
