I love the email sign up box that appears at the bottom of the screen occasionally on SitePoint forums. What is that called?
It’s not a pop-up, pop-under, or float in window. Does anyone now of WYSIWYG software to create those?
I would like to put those on parts of my site where users are engaged.
I haven’t been a member as long as you have, but I’ve spent some time here. And I’ve not once noticed such a thing 
Can you point to a specific page where you see it, or is it random?
I know they have been running them this year. I find it when I log onto the forum every now and then. It’s basically a pop-up that ends up owning the bottom 60-80 px height of your browser and stays there as you scroll down.
Ah, now I know what you’re talking about. It’s called “catfish”. And there’s quite a lot to be found on it (once you know what to look for
