Scale on Chrome Device-Mode is off

Am I going crazy?

This morning I was tinkering with a contact form, when it started to appear that all of my working web pages were broken.

For instance, on my finished home page, “device mode” in Chrome shows the page at 1614px wide, yet the scale shows it filling 1200px wide.

Wtf?

In this case, my home page is responsive, but the scale does not match where media queries are supposed to kick in.

Off Topic:

It sure would be nice if FireFox had a (working) scale in it so I could compare what is going on in another browser…

Apparently I hit command + “-” on my Mac, and it zoomed things out, and that is what was throwing things off. Whew!

I have never seen that before in Chrome… :blush:
