Random echo char

hey guys,

I echo this

echo “<BR><BR>there is a £35 delivery charge”;

I get this

“there is a £35 delivery charge”

why is the  there and how do i get rid of it? I’ve tried deleting the space before and then re-spacing it…

Its because £ is not a valid ACSII character, you need to use the symbol code for it which is & #163; <– Remove the space between & and #
