In the Profile area there is a box for Private Notes. Is there a way to make that or add an additional one that is Public facing? BTW…my image below was a capture from Jing. I love this!!!
The About Me section of your Preferences is public.
Yeah I saw that but I just thought it might be good to have an additional box. 
My thought was to keep me About Me area Static and use a box like that for more dynamic additions.
How much text can be added to the About Me area without a scroll bar popping up? Any idea?

Good question. No idea. Take it for a test run! 
Ouch! I did as you suggested. Scroll bars show and it consumes almost half of the About Me box. Very ugly but I will deal with it if that is the best it will be.
I was just thinking that the width of the Private Notes would be great if something could be done for Public viewing.

I’ve take up your concern with the Staff I do agree, there is room for improvement in allowing members to express themselves through their profile pages.

Well it’s been a while since this topic was brought up so I thought I would refresh it.
While the “Private Notes” is okay it would definitely be A LOT BETTER if there were “Public Notes” with the ability to Add them like the private ones.
Quite honestly I cannot think of a reason why I would want a Private note to myself.
I guess from a learning perspective is this a Discourse or SitePoint issue?

You are blessed with an exceptional memory and clear mind. (or maybe I’m more forgetful and muddled than most).
Perhaps you could do something via PM and invite others?
I’m not so sure that a members Profile is the place for public comments, but I guess it works for FaceBook Walls so the idea is worth exploring.

No I use NoteTab Pro for that. My files are on my DropBox account and all of my computers have access to the files.
I am hoping that “Public Notes” can be done so to give a little more pizzzaz to the Profile area. The About Us section is very limited. I added a bunch of text in that section and it reduced the size of the box itself and added an ugly scroll bar.
Since we don’t have the option for signatures at least throwing a bone out here for a decent view of the Profile page would be better. I’m not looking for more Linking space but rather Content explaining what I do in a more visual way WITHOUT the scroll bar.
I am happy with the one Website link … two might be nice but I can live with one.
