Problems with white space on sides of my website

Hello all. My website displays with the white space on the sides missing on some old computers. I thought it was a browser problem, but paid someone to check it out and they said it displays correctly on all browsers. But often when I go to an internet cafe or the library computer, and also sometimes on ipads, the white space is missing, and the text is pushed all the way right to the left edge of the screen.

I have had two people try to fix it but have not had any luck. I was wondering if perhaps anyone here might have an insight into what’s wrong…?

I am not sure if there is anything “wrong” with your site (other than a few small errors reported by Validator

I checked your site in adobe labs browser testing and saw that the text on the left was indeed butted up to the left edge. When you have a larger browser window this is not an issue. You might want to add a little bit of padding to your content div (or just left-padding). Also, not sure why you have your header div set to overflow:auto, I would set that to hidden.

These are just guesses … there might be something else going on but that is my best idea.
