just wondering, if a paypal payment was sent as gift, can it still be retracted by the person who gifted it?
i had a search but couldnt find anything about it and the online robot doesnt help. cheers

I would assume this is an issue to take up directly with Paypal for a more definite answer! You can contact them directly - I’ve got the address for you here, you can Email or Phone them, this would be my plan of action and my advice, best to go straight to the source!
I have also noticed that they have stopped payments going to and from India also, not sure where your gift was from coming! But just thought I would mention it. Also with regard to payments going out they can be reversed by the sender :confused2

Very little details as to why that happened.
But it looks like that affects personal accounts only and business accounts are still active.

It was basically government issues, which seem to now be over. RBI caused the trouble, India’s equivalent to the Federal Reserve.
PayPal likes to act like a bank without being classified as one, and this works more or less well in each country they do business in. It’s also the reason they can’t do business in some countries.
