I also signed up. Looking forward to the course, even if it is in it’s infancy and will probably change in the near-future. Only $10, it can’t hurt.
If you PM me your order number I can get that sorted out for you immediately…
For future courses (should you decide to take any!), you should receive an email immediately after purchasing the course. If you don’t, get in touch with us so that we can sort it out for you well in advance of the start date.
juanfernandes: It’s not a complete specification (it’s still being developed!), it’s not compatible (properly) with Internet Explorer and it’s not ready for the masses.
:mad:That is great all the excitement and fluff and back patting and everything but wheres the F$$$#@$$%G Course. NO E-amil annourcment no resuorces no nothing and the cours was supposed to start yesterday got a problem I understand things happen but I am trying to plan my week with these courses in mind so if something is up how about sharing it with us. I have seen at least to others that are out there wondering as well this is very unsitepoint like
x:sick:
really pissed but I’ll get over it.

Thanks for letting us know.
Why? Care to elaborate?
Interesting new courses, CSS3 I’m all in favour of… but HTML5? I think I’ll take the Tommy Olsson HTML5 course… Lesson 1: Don’t bother.
Or you could take a look at our beginners CSS course. CSS Live With Russ Weakley
[B]^^^** Strongly agrees! **^^[1]
Also signed up for both of the above courses as are excellent and good tools to add to my skillset!

Thanks for that “lightworks”. I bought JSLive. I will have to see if my pension will stretch to PHPLive next week
Yep, just click on the “courses” button in the blue navbar at the top of the page for the list of courses. I just bought JS Live at the same time as the 2 new ones myself.
Can we order back courses such as JavaScript and PHPLive?? I realise these have finished and one would miss live question and answer but I would imagiune they would still be of immense value to us students
I have no idea - that’s why I posted hoping one of the staff would tell us.
I havent received any communication from sitepoint yet regarding the courses - I assume because of the time difference since im in the UK.
OK, but where do we get the “coupon code” he refers to?
Just because you’re registered for a forum account and logged in doesn’t necessarily mean that you’re done. If you follow the “my order” link in the email, that page should let you know. There will either be an orange button asking you to enroll/activate the course or there should be a message saying “You have already enrolled in this course” that looks grayed out.
And, if you are enrolled, going to the course dashboard should give you a countdown timer:
http://courses.sitepoint.com/css3-live/dashboard
It’s still about 3 weeks away, so you have plenty of time
I’m testing to see if this works. I keep getting emails asking me to activate my account and I follow the links and see that I’m already logged in from the first time. I’m signed up to take John’s CSS3 class.
i will be there
Forgot to add a link to the post on zeldman.com - http://www.zeldman.com/2010/07/22/html5-and-css3-virtual-classes/
I have just paid to do both the HTML5 and CSS 3 courses. Can’t wait.
When do I get the details on where to go when the course starts etc?
Also, Jeffrey Zeldman posted on his blog that if you do the courses you get a 20% discount for the HTML5 for designers book. Is this being arrange by Sitepoint?
Thanks.
Um… Mike… I have replied to your Tweet, your Facebook post, your forum post AND I have sent you an email. I’m seriously not sure what more I can do.
