Looking for program - Need some direction

Hey guys,

My dad came to me with a request, help him find an application to sort and organize his grandfathers painting collection (6000+ paintings).

Today he has a large Excel file with a row for each paining with some details (location, type of painting, year…etc)

He wants to add a thumbnail of each image and get a more reliable platform so I’m helping him find someone.

Anyone have any clue how to find something like this? Money is not a problem.

I found PicaJet (http://www.picajet.com/) that looks good.
