Is there anything left for me?

As a student in college looking for a way to break into Front-end Web Development, the rise of things such as AI being used to replace juniors has really unnerved me. Is there any place for my skills(HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ReactJS) outside of Front-end?

Hello,

Of course, there is always room in the field. You should first try to find a junior-level position. If there aren’t any opportunities to get hired as a junior, start building your resume. Challenge yourself by creating websites, scripts for websites, and experimenting—most importantly, save your projects. These will be valuable to showcase to companies when you start applying for jobs.

I highly recommend dedicating time to self-practice, as it will be incredibly beneficial for your growth and career prospects.

A website is always about doing something - sell, inform, affect etc. I think one way to survive as frontend developer is to reduce the target groups to areas that you really can help your end customers to achieve their goals. Tech, fashion, pets or whatever you are passionate about. Passion is an USP.

AI cannot replace passion and your desire to help your customers.
