Insecure Startup Item disabled

Would anyone know how I amend the following.

“/Library/StartupItems/MySQLCOM” has not been started because it does not have the proper security settings.

Hardware - Macbook Pro
System 2.66 Intel Core Duo
Memory 4Gb
Mac OS X Version 10.6.6

I have installed Mysql and the Mysql Startup Item.
I receive the above error message each time I restart.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

give mamp a look it’s php , apache and mysq all bundled together with an easy installer.

Thanks for the reply, yes I have MAMP installed, however the book directs you to also install the other packages, do I need to use the other packages?
