At this point I could use a feature found in HTML 5 unfortunately with only FireFox supporting most if not all of it’s features that is out of the question. The cost that I would have to pay to get it done in flash.

Are there any alternatives to HTML 5 video player and or galleries of various types that you can have a lot of control with customizing for HTML ?

Could you be a bit more specific about what you need to do? I gather you are asking for video solutions and for Gallery solutions, but what reatures in particular?

I’m looking for yes as you mentioned a video player and multiple video gallery player and basically to customize the player interface as for features I have some things specific in mind but I don’t know if you can do it, I could explain if interested ?

I don’t know a lot about this, but there are some nice plugins out there (free and paid) that can be customized to some extent. I use Flowplayer, which I like a lot. Not sure if that’s what you want, though.

I’m pretty sure you could have multiple videos on one page with Flowplayer. Just make sure they’re not set to autoplay!

There are some nice galleries :slight_smile: I’m surprised you can get fairly good ones without using flash :wink: If anyone has any other suggestions so I can choose :slight_smile: please fire away :slight_smile:

I haven’t taken a solid look at any of them, yet :slight_smile: I’m not doubting any of them I’m going to review what is listed on that page :slight_smile:

A lot of those galleries break up if Javascript is disabled. I’d recommend looking at the one on this page: http://domscripting.com/domsters/photos.html

It doesn’t look great as is, but can be modified easily to suit.

SH, have a look at Lightbox 2, it does galleries that you can set up fairly easily.

There’s fancy box as well but there’s a good one called shadowbox which when combined with JW player, does all your galleries and videos with the one script.
