Hi, I just want to ask some help. I have registration form and it requires tracking no…, how can I generate unique tracking no,so that the newly registered member has it’s unique tracking no.

What’s the tracking number for? Can it be any length? Does the member need to know it or is it just for internal use!

Are you simply asking how to generate a unique string and find it in the database?
Are you asking how to store this data? If so, how is it being stored currently?
What exactly is this tracking? What is the tracking number used for?
Are you talking about shipping for the USPS, FedEx, or UPS?

We have form to be filled up by the customer and we should put tracking # or generate a tracking #. Inorder to track his registration form.
I tried to use I.d as you suggested.
