Help need on installing phpmyadmin

Need help on install phpmyadmin

I have installed apache and php and MySQL all working well . can see my website through localhost.

I have not played around with MySQL, before so its all new to me at this minit,

have down loaded phpmyadmin and unzipped it to my root , that as far has its gone,

SO my question is how do I run/install the program, have read that it need to be run my the MySQL through my localhost, what I have done so far is to change the config file in phpmyadmin and renamed it like so many tuts tell you to do and removed the ; from, extension=php_mbstring.dll…

but whats lacking is how to install it.

You dont ‘install’ PHPMyAdmin perse. PHPMyAdmin is simply a set of webpages. Drop the directory into your webroot, and visit the appropriate URL.
