Getting less traffic when moving to new server

Hello,

When I moved to a new server, I got less traffic.

The new server is faster in speed but why I got less traffice. Some keywords are not indexed on Google as high as before.

Does anyone know the reason?

Thanks.

How long ago did you change server? Because it can take a couple of days for DNS changes to spread around the globe, you’ll often find that there’s a bit of disruption when you change over, sometimes people won’t be able to connect to the site reliably for a day or two, and that can temporarily drop you down a little way in Google’s results page. But once the new server is up and running and all the DNS lists are updated (which should only take 2 or 3 days max), you should find that the search engines pick your site back up again and quickly return you to where you were in the rankings before. If that doesn’t happen, one thing to check is whether your new site is as reliable. Does it have the same level of uptime, or is it returning errors at times?

Agree with stevie on DNS change.
Check one more thing : Moving into a new server can sometime mess up your site. Check if all the links are working. Has there been any structural change that may occur specifiably if you use CMS like wp of joomla. Are all pages and objects uploading as usual.
I gs you said your new server is faster than the previous one. Then also check if all your pages are loading as usual.
