FilmFish: Humanly Curated Movie Discovery (Please Critique)

Hey guys,

Just launched a new movie recommendation site that uses human curation instead of algorithms to make suggestions. Our team of film-buffs have hand curated over 15,000 movies (that’s 5,000 more than Netflix has in its database).

We’d love it if you could click around on www.film-fish.com and tell us what you think of the product, specifically content, UI, and navigability.

Thanks!

I’d recommend having a category for latest films. Many people will want to get a critique on the latest movies on show, which could be a nice draw card for the site.

Beyond that, I’d recommend a bit more of a descriptive intro on the home page, as first-time visitors may well miss the point of the site.
