Me too, I regret it so much when I clicked to update my FB Timeline, but yeah, I just customize my setting and set my other posts to private.
I never intended to switch to timeline. I just made a pic badge and after it was done whenr i returned to my profile to place it as my profile photo it said that i activated timeline and it will be in effect after a week. If i had known then i wouldn’t have made a pic badge. darn it.
I don’t like the timeline too… and I think the same like u…wish i never had selected the same option…
I have not changed my Facebook to Timeline because I have heard so many people complain. The best advice I can give is to do some research on how to re-set your privacy setting and look for ways you can improve your page.
I haven’t opted-in to the Timeline. Has Facebook said if they will eventually ‘force’ everyone to that layout? It’s vague on their blog post from 1.24.12: “Over the next few weeks, everyone will get timeline.”
Or am I safe from it as along as I never activate it?

eventually facebook says that we’ll all get timeline by the next few months. i just started activating my privacy settings on my profile.

It shows you when I was born, when I went to school, who my friends are, what kind of silly youtube videos I’ve posted, my photos… pretty much everything my old profile page already showed! Woop!

You can’t. Everyone in the whole wide world will be switched over to the new timeline very soon, anyway.

Its not possible to go go back to your old Facebook profile. Me to hate timeline and leave Facebook just because of timeline. In timeline there is no privacy.
Really facebook timeline feature is not good but only good for companies who want to promote their brands or products by using adding cover photos. Yes, you can change your facebook timeline by changing its setting to get old one.
