Yes. As long as what you are selling can compete with the ebay price level, and doesn’t harm your brand, and isn’t likely to attract a lot of fraudulent activity, then it’s an extra channel for consumer discovery.
Once you’ve captured a customer from there, if your product range is likely to attract loyalty and multiple future sales, you can encourage customers to buy direct to avoid ebay trading costs, and to sign up for marketing initiatives like newsletters.
I’d assume that there would be “some” advantages to having a mirror account, but the alternative of just having the one account, and effectively one identity would be much much stronger.
I’d stick with this approach if you ask me
