i been working on a web app for over a year now. and i been fixing the compatibility issues on my own. few months back when i had had my DreamWeaver CS5 installed i was given 30 days of trail of Browser Lab. which was i must say awesome! time saver tool. but buying CS5 is expensive, so i m here to ask what are open source tools for checking CBC. any good ones around
The best way to test compatibility across browsers is to install all the different browsers on your computer and test your site in each of them. Compatibility encompasses styles, scripting and interaction, and there are no emulators that give consistently accurate results across the board. The only way to be sure is to check everything yourself.
