Content vs Podcast vs Video

I am trying to decide what kind of methods of content I should offer. Can you get the same amount of traffic that you would get if you didn’t offer video, but instead wrote just articles? Or, even just creating podcasts? Does combining two, or more methods of content drive more traffic?

What type of content is it? Sometimes certain content is better suited for one medium over another.

Or, sometimes visitors prefer one format over another.

If you already have your website up and running, throw up a poll and see what your visitors would prefer.

Thanks for that good suggestion. Well, my content is going to be an informational website with design and programming tips. I may also offer full tutorials series if my audience has a demand for it. In addition, I want to review programs, software, and websites I find useful and helpful. I’m told that targeted content is best to use. This is only the beginning of my vision.

Generally speaking, the more channels of content delivery you have, the more likely you are going to appeal to the broadest audience by reaching them in their preferred format. I think most marketing experts will tell you that a good campaign of multiple media formats is best.

I agree! A poll is not only a great way to determine what works best for your particular niche but also makes your site interactive. This activity also makes your site look good to some SE bots.
