Striving to brainstorm some ideas for a paper for a class. I need to come up with a law for a business related issue (that is not currently addressed). Any help would be great. Thanks.
How about a law in regards to how people manipulate search engines. If anything should be made illegal (IMO), it’s spammers and SEO “professionals”. 
Not sure if this applicable to what you’re looking for, but, an interesting topic is the use of Open Source in commercial/business software. Many companies incorporate O/S libraries in their code, inadvertently opening themselves to a host of potential issues. eg. GPL=not good. Perhaps your paper can investigate those issues.
