Hi,

The first thing to do is to make sure you are including bootstrap.min.js correctly
If you look at your page in the console (usually F12 > Console), you’ll see:

http://impactograph.com/Scripts/bootstrap.min.js
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)

I dont get it though why isnt it reading it do I have place incorrectly?:

</body>
   <script src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.3.2/jquery.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
    <script src="Scripts/dropdown_language.js" ></script>
    <!-- jQuery (necessary for Bootstrap's JavaScript plugins) -->
    <script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.11.2/jquery.min.js"></script>
    <!-- Include all compiled plugins (below), or include individual files as needed -->
    <script src="Scripts/bootstrap.min.js"></script>
</html>

FYI those JS scripts need to be before </body> .

Are you sure about the script location?
http://impactograph.com/Scripts/bootstrap.min.js

That’s a 404. Is that where the script is supposed to be? Is Scripts supposed to be capitalized?

Yeah thats how I have my folder called. with Cap

Really? bootstrap website has them after </body>…

I dunno if it actually matters; just that 99.9% of websites put it right before </body>. Follow convention :slight_smile: .

Not from what I see.

  </body>

oh whoops I misunderstood

Alright I got it working now. Thank you

Also, you seem to be including jQuery twice. That’s not good.

which one should I take out? I believe one is for my language selector though…:

 </div>
   <script src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.3.2/jquery.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
    <script src="Scripts/dropdown_language.js" ></script>
    <!-- jQuery (necessary for Bootstrap's JavaScript plugins) -->
    <script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.11.2/jquery.min.js"></script>
    <!-- Include all compiled plugins (below), or include individual files as needed -->
    <script src="Scripts/bootstrap.min.js"></script>

</body>

Remove the 1.3.2 one and see if it work still.

Move the dropdown_language after the 1.11.2 jquery call. Make jquery the first one there.

    <script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.11.2/jquery.min.js"></script>
    <script src="Scripts/dropdown_language.js" ></script>
    <script src="Scripts/bootstrap.min.js"></script>
