Anyone here use Tumblr?

Hi all,

I’m trying to make some changes to one of the default Tumblr templates using their “Edit HTML” option. All I need to do is center my images.

The only option is to use inline styles (unless you want to go all 1990’s and use <center> tags!)

The problem is that when I click “save changes” when I return to my draft, all of my CSS / HTML changes have disappeared.

Just wondered if anyone has experience of this phenomenon? (I know this thread is may be in the wrong forum as it is only loosely related to CSS - I apologise if this is the case).

I’d load up a new tumblr template and see if it does the same thing. If it does, I’d consider reinstalling as it might have been corrupted :).

Yeah, I know. I’ve tried checking Tumblr’s support pages and have emailed their support guys but they are less than helpful. Thank anyway. :slight_smile:

Hi,
As you mentioned, your question is really beyond the scope of the css forum and it would just be by chance if someone had the answer.

Have you checked to see if Tumblr has a forum of their own. If so, I’m sure they would be of more help with questions about their editor.
