Advanced Php study material

Hi,

 I'm just looking for suggestions on books or  other study materail that shows some best practises for designing and architecturing php applications in the current context.

It’s nice if the books/material makes you learn through developing/coding a few projects/apps so that you can get a hands on idea about design and architecture problems.

Also nice, if alternative solutions are discussed.
