hi,
im working on my clients website; http://www.alsweet.co.uk/laurie
i’m having trouble with the positioning of the footer. I have used position absolute to keep it 10px from the bottom of the page at all times.
this would be fine but when i test the site on 1024x768, you need to scroll down and the footer appears over the content. 
Does anybody know a fix for this?

What you are looking for is a “sticky footer”, which CSS is not really that well designed for.
Still if that’s what you want, the experts have worked out some nice ways to do it. Check out these links and see if they help:
