5-For-1 Deal Is Back With a Kindle & iPhone Twist

Less than 12 days left on the sale.

Matt has addressed your post here.

There’s only three titles listed which I don’t yet own! You guys need to release more books, then I’ll be ready to purchase :stuck_out_tongue:

Hi There

I had purchase the book 3 days ago and still cant claim the pdf book. I already received receipt in my email.

Could u kindly check why i still cant login to claim the pdf book? The system said :

The email address and order number you submitted did not correspond with a customer who has purchased a downloadable PDF. Please check your email receipt and enter your email address and order number exactly as they appear on the receipt.

I already send 2 email to support@sitepoint.com but still havent received any reply. Appreciate if someone can explain to me what is happening. Thanks.

Hi mukmin_algorithm, you should send a PM directly to Hawk or ShayneTiley to get this resolved ASAP  (they will want to communicate in private messaging anyway)

Hi RyanReese, thanks a lot. I m new here and doesnt know anybody yet. I already send Hawk pm, hopefully he can help me since i cant wait to have my eyes on all the ebooks.

[ot]She can definately help you since she works for SP ;).
You’re welcome.[/ot]

Perhaps I should add a line into my sig that says “Gender doesn’t matter - I’m a girl”

Anyway, thanks Ryan and I have sorted out the issue, mukmin_algorythm. Sorry for the delay.

Thanks. I was actually one of the people who took advantage of this last year.

I’m a SEO executive in London, and my HTML CSS skills are quite primitive. Bought a couple of e-books, plus the dynamic site one and Jquery to enhance my skills.

All I need now is a e-book for creating time :frowning:

Hi, Im a newbie, are the 5 for 1 books only downloadable? Is there a way for me get the actual books?

Thanks

Hey shmaya, welcome to SP.

This particular 5-4-1 deal is for electronic books only but we do sell most of our books in print as well. You can find all the details on our books page.

Thanks! I actually own a few Site-Point books and love them that’s why I was asking.

I was wondering who I need to talk to to get my refund request (submitted to support already) processed? I want to withdraw some funds from Paypal and am waiting on this. This was the first time I’ve actually asked for a refund, I just didn’t like reading the books on the Kindle. I think (only my opinion) that tutorial/code style books are best bought in the traditional format, so that’s what I’ll continue to do. This was my first refund request since I joined back in 2003.

Get in touch with Garrett at book support and he’ll be able to help you out.

I did, thanks Hawk and I haven’t heard back. I chose post sales question of the available options as there was no refund radio button.

They’re pretty snowed under with support tickets due to this sale but he will definitely be in touch in the next day or so.

  • got mine a bit ago. I was going to ask which of these 3 should I read in order:

  • Art and Science of CSS

  • CSS Anthology

  • HTML Utopia

…but HTML Utopia has a part that just broke me now. I thought I was a great practical CSS guy with 7/10 skill, but this book has humbled me.

It has been 6 days and still I’m being greeted by SitePoint as
“The email address and order number you submitted did not correspond with a customer who has purchased a downloadable PDF. Please check your email receipt and enter your email address and order number exactly as they appear on the receipt.”
and I’m sure I use the order number given in the receipt sent to my email.

If I go check the status of my order, last few days it says
“Your order has not shipped, please check again tomorrow”

and now it says
“Unfortunately we are not currently able to look up your order’s shipping status. Please check again if you have not yet received your order in a few days.”

WTF?

Sorry to hear that you’re having problems rpgmr.
If you email books@sitepoint.com with your order number, Garrett will help you out.

Edit: Forget that - I have sorted it out and responded to your email.

What about flash?
