Currently receiving 70 cents CPM for 468x60 banner ads for a 'medium' size UK site and was wondering if it's likely any ad network was likely to beat that?
Have been accepted by all the major US ad networks, but not sure about how many UK advertisers they have. Any UK visitors tried TribalFusion, Burst, Casale, Fastclick etc.? Which has had the most UK-specific advertisers? Thanks. |

I don't know about Tribal Fusion as have yet to be accepted there, but Burst, Fastclick, and Casale all have pretty good deals with UK advertisers. However I doubt they would get you much more than the $0.70 eCPM you are quoting.
To get a higher eCPM for your UK traffic, you could try a couple of more UK localised ad networks such as www.accelerator-media.com or www.adsmart.net or www.adpepper.com or www.adlink.net/uk/ (or maybe euroclick.com - although they are quite new so not as well tested). Nevertheless, even with these networks you are unliekly to get much more than $1 (or 70p) eCPM. In order to get higher rates than those, selling the space yourslef would be the way to go (then you don't lose the 30 - 50% that the networks take). If you are prepared to allow the nasty flashing requester adverts then FastClick have a lot of those paying between $1 and $3 for UK stuff. Normal banners are usually less than $1. Burst have quite a few UK campaigns and they generally pay higher that the US campaigns, but Burst is poor at filling. Figures are 468 by 60 btw.
