I saw a tutorial somewhere and the guy was using a HTML or PHP editor(hand coding) and when he typed certain words he was getting code hints, wordpress code hints. Anyone know of a wordpress HTML editor with WP code hinting?

You can use Dreamweaver . it’s show hints .
He’s most likely using a custom configured code editor or a plugin, as I don’t think any editor has WordPress code hinting by default. But there are a handful plugins that do this for you, such as ThemeDreamer for Dreamweaver and the [URL=“http://www.codelobster.com/wordpress.html”]WP plugin for CodeLobster.
Thank you Raptor, I will check that out. I know it wasn’t dreamweaver he was using but since I have dreamweaver I will look into Themedreamer.
eta: I called my friend and he said it was a lynda tutorial and the guy was using a program called eclipse. I have never heard of it. I will check it out. Just posting this for those that are interested.
Just a note on Eclipse, it takes sometime getting used to, the wordpress functionality is a custom plugin.
