I just setup Win7 on two comps. One is a netbook running Starter edition, the other is my workstation running Pro.
I created the homegroup on my Pro workstation and joined my netbook to it.
I then shared some things on both machines.
Something odd is happening…
I can see the homegroup on my netbook, and the files shared on the Pro workstation.
I can NOT see the homegroup at all from the Pro workstation, even though it’s the one hosting it!
WTF??? Help please?
NOTES: static ips in the same class c ip range (.2 and .42), no conflicts, same workgroup, different comp names.
