Why do these two links give me different results (looking at source files in Chrome Inspector)
http://www.posweyb.net/
https://posweyb.net/
I know the latter is ‘secure’ but it is the wrong index file. Shouldn’t I be using the secure way of connecting? So confused!
I’m not seeing different source files (although I haven’t compared them minutely).
The first link is redirecting to https://www.posweyb.net/, so both are serving a secure page. www.example.com and example.com are considered to be two different addresses and can therefore contain different content. Search engines will regard them as different pages. It is therefore generally better to choose one or other and redirect to your chosen version.
