Which platform is the best for my business website?

Hi all,

I’ve a business website that I want to convert into e-commerce. I’ve a good business website that is really business profitable. I want to develop an e-commerce website. And I want to do as online store for a profitable business. But I’m very confused to choose the magneto, OScommerce and Wordpress. Can you help me? Your help is really appreciated.

Hi sinhapooja634 welcome to the forum

If you post the log in credentials to the existing website and provide the business plan and all business records others will be able to do an analysis.

Honestly, doesn’t that sound like something best left to your own business department to do?

And what do you mean by “best”? Best in what way(s)?

Historically, vague “what’s best” questions invariably get a lot of brief “opinion” replies.

If you hope to get any helpful replies, much more specific detail is needed.
* about the “best” not the login or business records

Else, try the different platforms yourself so you can make your own decision.

I instantly think of Wordpress in combination with Easy Digital Downloads or Woocommerce. These two are very powerful plugins that you can install in Wordpress that allow you to create an e-commerce store.

The great thing about Woocommerce and EDD (Easy Digital Downloads) is that 100% of all sales go directly to you. They don’t get a percentage of your sales. More money = more profit.

My personal opinion (the only one that matters): Wordpress. I have had great experiences with Wordpress and e-commerce. It is customizable, editable, responsive and has a great support base.

WordPress for sure, the best out there

Welcome to the forums, @blogspace.

Just giving an opinion like that is not very helpful to the OP. Please take time to explain why you think it’s the best and, more importantly, why you think it’s the best choice for the OP’s situation.

Mainly WordPress is not an eCommerce platform. It’s all relies on your necessity. Be that as it may, you can utilize some paid and free plugins for shopping cart integration in WordPress CMS.

On a more extensive level, you can accomplish an all the better effectiveness and security with Joomla - you have required experienced CMS developer who comprehends the key elements of a safe site.

I mainly depend on WordPress. Because it’s easy to use and lot’s of plugin available easily.

Great idea and acknowledgement. I also think before reply on any topic leave few legit reasons why should to use.

According to annual report of 2015, Magento is top 2 popular e-commerce platforms in market share. Trying with Google Trends, the path of development of Magento expands with increasing interest over time index. Why do many online business choose Magento? Because it is really powerful to improve online business. However, Magento is not for all. It is suitable for large and medium business with strong financial resource. If you do want to pay a lot of money, you should try with WooCommere of WordPress. Find some comparison between top favorite e-commerce platforms of litextension, aheadword, builtwith.

For a business website, I would recommend selecting Magento 2 as it provides all that you need to run your online business. It is among the most preferred open source frameworks for business website today and best known for eCommerce website. Although I recommend consulting a Magento Development Expert to have deeper understanding of how it can prove useful for your website. Also, WordPress is a good choice for building a business website where you can also integrate web apps made in Angular JS or Ext JS.

There are many platforms like Magento , Prestashop, WordPress, I recommend Magento

As I said earlier in this topic,
