I use Firefox AND IE8 equally. Firefox crashes and belches just as much as any other browser I have used.

I alway prefer two browsers at least that i can do without. My first is Opera i like opera specially when copying links to browser with paste and go option and next is firefox for their firebug or if some object don’t display correctly on opera or vise versa.

Depends on who you ask, and from what perspective you’re viewing the question. Some would say yes, some would say no.
There is no best anything, only snapshots of opinions :slight_smile:

Firefox, because I can use the NoScript addon with it, which keeps my web surfing quick and clean.

I can also use the Personas add-on to make my browser pretty. At the moment I have Cookie Monster’s boggly eyes staring at me from my screen. :slight_smile:

i think fire fox is much easy and faster than other, it is very easy to use when you are working on many tabs on same time.

IE6 might have caused web developers a lot of grief (getting their pages to look like what they intended)…

… but that’s a different story from using IE6 as a browser to surf teh interwebs

i started using IE as my browser IE in version 2 (for windows 3.1), and i have always admired how good the various versions have been as a browser for the web pages that existed at their time, despite how difficult some versions were/are to write css for (i’m looking at you, IE4)

I mostly use IE8, but also uses Opera and FF. haven’t tried chrome yet, and have no plan of using it either…

As far as I’m concerned, IE8 is pretty decent, if IE6 hadn’t made me so averse of IE as a whole I would have maybe used it as well. Like most of the people out here I think, I’m just not that keen on its predecessors :slight_smile:
If you would have said IE6 you would have gotten a whole other reply I think.
And yes, IE8 is the reason I stopped bashing IE in general.

i am totally gobsmacked by the number of people who prefer to use IE8

this topic question gets reposted frequently, and in a previous thread, where i was one of the very few who spoke up in favour if IE, several mozilla fanboys tried to take me to task and berate me for my choice

i see it as a good thing that nobody has done that (yet) in this thread
