Where are you from?

I’m from the US and I was born here but I have lived outside the Country and visited Countries across the globe.
I should note that I was not born in Colorado but back East. I claim Virginia as my “Home” state but was born in a naval hospital in Maryland. (Parents lived in Virginia at the time of my birth).
Interesting topic.

One final note: I’ve been to Australia on several different occasions, great place and I had a great time!!!

I wasn’t born there, but I claim it as my home because that’s where I lived between 8 and 16, which were pretty important years.

Interesting. I claim PA as my “home state” because I’ve lived here the longest. I was born in GA and lived in five other states beyond that while growing up.

Kinda figured. Only people I know who moved around more than I did as a kid. Always confused people when I told them I wasn’t one…

I was born in The Old Smoke, but only because my US mother and Australian dad were passing through. My first two years were spent in the City of Love. But since then I’ve lived in … Melbourne … which doesn’t seem to have a famous nickname (although I do enjoy some of its previous names, especially Batmania!)

Now that’s not very common - someone who lives in Melbourne who has no connection with Greece.:grinning:

Yes, it’s tough being a minority.
