my name is Milos im from Serbia and im 20. years old.
Long time i learn to web programming, reading a lot information and i need more.
About a couple of months ago i think about to open my first web design/programming/scripting company, but i dont know how to know when im ready?
Today in sea a lots of web company i want create one, mine. Im ready to work, all day, all night if its a needed.
Im not afraid of work. Im ready to learn and work, but i need your experience about this theme? Did you trying do something like this?
Or maybe find a job? What you think?
It’s almost way too easy to hang out your virtual “shingle” saying you’re ready for business.
If I was going into business solo, I would first do as much freelance as possible, trying to build up reputation and portfolio (make sure your freelance customers would allow you to show your work for them in your portfolio). If you’ve got customers, be sure to encourage them to share your name for anyone looking to have similar work done.
If you’re looking to get programming work, work on some open source projects and get some portfolio/sample code/experience there.
