I am trying to find some good alternative to facebook messenger and whatsapp.
It would be great if you can advice some secured or encrypted one.
Personally, my goal is to use some popular safe messenger to have ability to communicate with many people as well as easy to use app.
Have you taken a look at Signal?

Yes I have it on my phone because one of my friends plain refuses to install WhatsApp.
It’s pretty much the same as WhatsApp though in terms of how it works and how it looks.
Have you test telegram?
Yes, but I am not sure it’s completely secure.
