… I’ve never heard someone say this before. Have you ever had a real mango? Not like as an ingredient, but the actual fruit.
Sticky and really hard to eat without making a huge mess, but delicious.

Hard to disagree with that.
There’s a cafe we visit when we’re in Glasgow which serves amazing home-made mango sorbet, and back in the days when we had a freezer, I even made my own mango ice cream, which was truly delicious, if I do say so myself.
You should try a Thai Restaurant sometime and ask for “Mango and Sticky Rice”, once eaten, never forgotten )
Yes, I’ve had real mango, before. While I will admit that it is sweet, there’s a very subtle flavour nuance that ruins the experience, for me. It’s in the background, not up front. If it weren’t for that, I’d probably like mango. But that very faint hint kills it, for me.
Now… when mango is used as one of several ingredients as part of a VERY spicy salsa, that nuance is overpowered by everything else, and it becomes enjoyable to my taste buds.
I’ll have to remember this. I have been wanting to try Thai and there are none near me and every time I go on vacation I forget.
Of course mango but like alternate food also.Like as banana ,apple etc.
