I think the question is an implicit “how can I do this?”
What I don’t understand is the “this”
The way I’m interpreting it is:
“When I change a part of my project, how can I display something that indicates I have changed part of my project?”
If my understanding is close, I think what is wanted here is version control. IMHO rather than trying to code something up to do this, it would be better to work with the project inside of an IDE that can do that for you.
