Website for my business

Hello. I want to make a website for my business. Tell me some good company that can do this for me. I want good support and good service. Share your opinion.

Hi @simonperez60, I think the answers may vary depending on what kind of website you need. Is it an ecommerce website or just a simple portfolio one? Do you need to be able to update all data yourself? Do you need custom designs made for you or an already made template would do? Does quality have precedence over budget?

I want a website for a small family hotel. That’s why I dont have a big budget. And I cannot turn to a highly qualified IT specialist!

There are many agencies that build budget websites with Wordpress. This is cheaper because you are able to find already made cheap themes that may adapt to your needs, saving you a lot of the work. Sitepoint develops wordpress themes so you may want to take a look at theirs. There are hundreds of available themes online. It will save you money to find the one that most adapts to your needs

Alternatively, if you don’t have time to learn how to do it yourself, you could use one of the “build your own” sites, like Wix.

It’s really not appropriate to ask members here to recommend companies. The thread will rapidly descend into an excuse for advertising, which we don’t permit. You an search online for companies in your area and compare prices. Then look at their other work, look for reviews of the business, etc.

As mentioned, on a super budget, just go with a “page builder” company like Wix or many others. I wrote about various options here: https://www.sitepoint.com/best-free-and-cheap-website-options-for-small-businesses/

As a hotel you may have special needs like a way for people to do bookings. That could be hard to add to one of these hosted solutions.

So the very cheapest website to build is Wordpress, because you can find people to put one together with an off-the-shelf theme for a couple hundred bucks. But you get what you pay for, don’t expect a lot of customizations and graphic design and making everything look amazing. It’s nothing more than a setup fee to install WP on a server and install a theme.

If you need help and customizations and want to be secure and make sure you have backups and use advanced plugins and implement bookings system and social media and contact forms and all that, then plan on spending at least $500 to $2000.

If you need a way to find these developers and agencies, then try using a network like Upwork.com to post your job and find someone there.

Good luck!

You can use page builders like Wix, Weebly or Webs, or you can use Content Management Systems such as Wordpress or Joomla, otherwise you will end up paying a lot of money for someone to build a website for you.

Thanks to those who took the trouble to reply here.

Unfortunately, it seems the OP was not genuine in their enquiry and the thread was a set-up, so I’m closing it now.
